Baby Shower Candy Bar Game - Bring Fun to Your PartyHere, you will learn about a baby shower candy bar game or two. Using candy bars during games at baby showers is something that's been done for years. The two most common such candy bar games are "The Candy Bar Name Game," and "What's in that Diaper?!" They're very different games, and it's probably best to take into account who might be at the party before deciding if one may be more appropriate than the other. For the more faint-of-heart guest list, the name game is definitely the way to go. This baby shower candy bar game is simple, too. You'll need to come up with a list of candy bars and candies that could relate directly to a word that is linked to pregnancy, babies, and childbirth. Some examples are:
After coming up with your list, you need to go to the store and buy one of each candy. Tape each candy bar to a piece of poster board. At the shower, display the poster board so that all guests can see it. Give each one a piece of paper and a pencil, and give your word clues one at a time. For each clue, have your guests write down what they think it is. Whoever has the most right at the end gets to pick a candy bar to take home - the rest go to mom! For your more strong-stomached guest-lists, the Diaper game can be hilarious! For this baby shower candy bar game, first, go out and buy several different kinds of candy bars and open a package of diapers. Be sure to get all kinds, including Hershey's Cookies & Cream, Mounds, Snickers, Milky Way, Heath... as many as you want to buy. Take a diaper for each candy bar, and open it up. Open a candy bar and break it in half so it will fit into a small-microwave-safe bowl. Place in the microwave for 15 seconds; if it's not very melted, you may microwave for up to 20 more seconds. Once it's pretty melted, scoop it directly onto the open diaper. Do this for each candy bar. After they've dried a bit, close them up and fasten the tabs. Put them in a plastic grocery sack. When it's time to start this baby shower candy bar game, present the "dirty diapers" to the mom-to-be and have her open each diaper, laying it on a table. Give the guests about 10 minutes to try to decide what was inside of each dirty diaper. Whoever got the most right wins! You could have the prize be a "coupon" to give to the mom-to-be, promising to change 10 dirty diapers! These baby shower candy bar games can be a real conversation starter for your guests. And the best part is, they're simple, easy, and inexpensive. Have fun!
