Consider a small box of chocolates with a save the date note on the lid. This can be a great way to save on sending so many "save the date" cards and get the job done when it comes to favors.

This is about welcoming you into the world of "couple-dom" and introducing your fiance to those of your guests who haven't met your special someone yet. This party is not about gifts, so set the scene and make it a party to remember, with or without engagement party favors.
