Intriguing Halloween Snacks for Kids and Adults Alike

Are you wondering what Halloween snacks and treats to serve at your party?

Halloween is the traditional time of the year when kids get dressed up, go door to door trick or treating, and come home with a mountain of candy.

Of course, you may want to stick with the traditional bag of candy for your special neighborhood ghost, ghouls, and goblins, but when it comes to your own children, these Halloween snacks will not only have them coming back for more every day, these foods will also be good for them.

Jell-O

What kid doesn't like Jell-O? Through all of the years, this jiggly, slick-looking snack has always inspired wonder, awe, and a sense of adventure with kids. For Halloween, though, you can make that Jell-O into something far more than just an average snack.

All you have to do is place a variety of different Gummy Worms into the mix, along with anything else that may inspire your kids to simultaneously say, 'Gross,' with a laugh and get them to reach out their hands for more, more, more! How you decorate this Halloween snack of Jell-O and Gummy worms is entirely up to you, but when you use your creative imagination, you'll have a winner every time.

Grapes

That's right. Grapes can be a winning snack at Halloween. Why? Because grapes can look eerily like eyeballs if they are decorated just right. Adding a little bit of white food coloring dye to the ends, along with some dark coloring to highlight the pupils, and your kids will be fascinated at the thought of eating eyeballs for a snack.

Of course, they will know that they are grapes and the taste will be the same, but when it comes to children and their appetites, appearances can mean everything to them. As a variation on the eyeball theme, you can make them 'Eye-scream' sundaes. Use some vanilla ice cream served in a round shape and decorate with sprinkles or icing to look like an eyeball. Mmm.. yum!

Hot dog fingers

Your children have probably had 'Pigs in a Blanket' many times in the past, and this is a variation on that summer tradition. Instead of using the small hot dogs, use regular sized hot dogs and wrap them in dough. If you are really creative, add some color and texture to the baked dough that will resemble fingers and you will have an instant hit with your kids.

Halloween snacks are perfect for Halloween parties for kids. You'll notice right away that all of your guests will immediately flock to those snacks that have a story behind them, even if the kids don't really know the story. Halloween snacks will make your next Halloween party the best ever.
