• About 5 feet of 4" PVC pipe

• Something to cover the pipe with, such as a coffee can
• A sledge hammer to sink your feeder into the ground

How to make your homemade deer feeder:

• Cut one end of the pipe at about a 45 degree angle to help make it easier to pound it into the ground. This is why you should have the right kind of blade on your saw, as it will cut down on how long it takes you to cut the pipe.
  
  
• The next thing you'll need to do is measure up by about 10 inches from the bottom of the pipe and cut an opening into the pipe. It's easiest to cut at another 45 degree angle, and make it about five or six inches long. • Pound the pipe into the ground and fill it with grain to feed the deer. Cover it up with the coffee can to help keep the grain from getting wet and you have a very inexpensive homemade deer feeder.

Animals will eat as much as you give them and, in this case, they will eat a lot.
