Homemade Lip Gloss - Tips, Ideas and Instructions

Homemade lip gloss can be a fun way to keep your lips moist and shiny, while adding the flavors and colors that you crave.

• You can mix up only enough of your homemade lip gloss for you to use for one day while you're experimenting, or you can make a nice sized batch that you can take with you all the time.
  
  
• Another alternative to blush might be lipstick. If you have a favorite color that you use all the time but it's running out, this can be a great option to use all the way down to the very last bit.

• Beeswax and cocoa butter (2 parts each)
• Coconut and grapeseed oil (1 part each)
• Flavoring if you like
• Coloring, such as the last of your lipstick or favorite existing lip gloss, if you like

Directions:

• This is really easy, because all you need to do is melt the beeswax, cocoa butter, coconut and grapeseed oil down into a double boiler. When it's all mixed, add the remnants of the lipstick and a couple of drops of the essential oil of your choice and stir until well blended.
  
  
• Pour it into a pot used for lip gloss or mineral eye shadow and allow it to cool. When it's cooled, you're ready to use your new homemade lip gloss.
